$100 per supervision hour
Beginning your career as a Licensed Professional Counselor is both exciting and challenging. Quality clinical supervision provides more than just meeting licensure requirements—it offers guidance, encouragement, and professional development as you grow into a confident and competent clinician.
James provides supervision for Oklahoma LPC Candidates in a supportive, collaborative environment that emphasizes ethical practice, clinical skill development, case conceptualization, and professional identity. Drawing from his experience in counseling and theological studies, he works alongside candidates to strengthen clinical judgment while encouraging both personal and professional growth.
In Oklahoma, LPC Candidates are required to complete 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience after earning their graduate degree and successfully completing the required licensing examinations. Supervision is provided in accordance with Oklahoma licensure requirements, typically at a rate of 45 minutes for every 20 hours of client contact. For many full-time clinicians, this equates to approximately 1½ hours of supervision each week.
If your employer provides reimbursement for supervision with an outside supervisor, James is happy to accept your agency's approved reimbursement rate. Please contact us to discuss supervision availability, expectations, and scheduling.
